Graphic Multi Meter
VLGM series
Have you ever felt you wanted to see the changes in load as waveform?
Color LCD graphic touch screen adopted!!
- Measures the changes in load in real time. This helps to identify the cause of trouble and avoid the problem smoothly.
- Not only waveform but also displacement can be compared, which enables measurement while keeping the load value even when stopped.
- Includes the inflection point hold function to detect "the peak of initial pressure" and "the end of process". This increases the certainty of Go/No-Go judgment.
- Use of SD card allows data to be input or analyzed easily and quickly.
- Besides 2 input channels of "strain gauge + process", "strain gauge + pulse" has been added newly.
Features of VLGM on movie
Press either of the buttons below to see the movie of "Press-fitting of pin" and "3D demonstration of VLGM."
Input can be compared between waveforms or between waveform and displacement.
■Setting the tolerance range via the LCD screen enables visual alarm between the higher and lower limits of waveforms, and highly accurate digital results of judgment. Interlocking with displacement is also possible. In waveform comparison, analog input waveform that changes with time or displacement is converted to digital, and the converted value (displayed value) is compared with the preset higher/lower limit values and the result is output. Up to 8 patterns of higher/lower limit waveform values, areas to be compared and higher/lower limit displacement values can be stored in memory. They can be switched easily via the pattern select signal or RS communication function.
Selectable display: Ch. A, Ch. B or both
■Display can be switched among channel A for input from strain gauge, channel B for analog process signal input or pulse input (selectable), and both channels. Not only the results of respective measurements, but also the tolerance range and results of comparison can be constantly shown in colors for easy understanding. Up to 16 patterns of set values of calibration, scaling and comparative outputs can be stored in memory.
High-speed processing of 4000 samples/s(when using 1 channel)
■VLGM series enables high-speed sampling of 4000 samples per second (when using 1 channel).
This also enables comparative judgment on the systems of faster tact time. Thanks to detailed data sampling, waveforms of measurement can be plotted realistically.(When two channels are used simultaneously, sampling rate will be 2000 samples/s.)
Abundant hold functions
■VLGM series has abundant hold functions. Inflection hold that enables measurement immediately before the end of processing can show the loads that are vital for press-fitting or caulking.
Besides the basic hold functions such as sample hold, peak hold, and valley hold, it is also possible to combine hold functions, and to add the hold functions for specifying term and time to the basic functions.
Equipped with SD memory card slot
Using SD memory card, the data collected on site or during business trip can be analyzed offline. It is also possible to edit the collected data or to set the loaded waveform as higher or lower limit value on the VLGM using the Analyzer (application dedicated to the models with SD slot). Use of the Configurator window saves the users from having to input data.
